Unity of Inquiry:  How We Express Ourselves

Learning Target:  I can express my musical ideas by composing and performing a piece of music using NoteKnacks.

Students will construct a piece of music using music manipulatives that help students create and understand musical notation.  They will then transcribe these rhythmic tiles into the iPad program “Explain Everything.”  The program allows for recording and playback, and students will be able to share their work by performing on drums.
